The Man Overboard (MOB) button creates a special purpose marker that, when activated, saves vehicle attitude and position.
The MOB shortcut in the top left corner of the grid view is a shortcut to create a Man Overboard marker. Unlike standard markers, the MOB records instantaneous vehicle attitude and position when the button is pressed.
Man Overboard markers appear as a green triangle beneath the vehicle. The triangle points in the direction of the vehicle's heading when the MOB was created. Once created, the location data for the MOB marker is stored in the Navigation Tools Menu. If Display Range/Bearing is enabled from the MOB tab on the navigation menu, it will display on the map as shown below.
The MOB tab on the Navigation Menu contains all the specifications from each MOB marker placed. Like waypoints, range and bearing to the MOB markers can be enabled or disabled and will display their status in the top left corner of the grid screen.
