The Signal Mapper editor page has four buttons across the top of the page that control the state of the Signal Mapper application. These controls allow the operator to create and edit signal maps, save signal maps and restore them. The button functions are outlined in the following table.

| Enable Editing | Allows the operator to create and edit signal mappings. |
| Save Signal Maps | Saves the current set of signal mappings to a configuration file. |
| Restore Signal Maps | Allows the operator to restore a saved set of signal mappings from a configuration file. |
| Advanced View | Gives the operator access to all editable signal mapping fields. |
