Flight View Overview

The Flight View is the default Greensea Workspace display, accessed by clicking the Greensea icon on the Navigation Bar. All the tools used to monitor the ROV are located on the Flight View. (Note: Older versions of the system may have a flame icon in place of the Greensea icon.)

Device Diagnostics

The Device Diagnostics (stethoscope) button allows the operator to monitor navigational and operational data in real time.

LED Indicators

The LED Indicators provide information about the status of the system. Green indicates a favorable/healthy condition, and red indicates an unfavorable/fault condition.

Compass Rose

The compass rose displays the vehicle's instantaneous heading, pitch (P), and roll (R).

Altitude and Depth Gauges

The altitude and depth gauges display the vehicle's current altitude relative to the sea floor and the depth in meters.

Autopilot Control Menu

The autopilot functions enable precise and accurate autopilot control over the vehicle. These functions can be used to fully automate vehicle motion, or to control the vehicle in fly-by-wire mode.

Cam

The Cam tab shows the tilt of the camera and enables the operator to take a photo by clicking the Take Snapshot button.

Overlay

The Overlay tab enables the operator to specify Video Overlay or Record Overlay, and to select the information that is displayed: depth, pitch, temp, altitude, roll, time, heading, dive number, and notes.

LEDs

The LEDs tab enables the operator to adjust the brightness of the LEDs on the vehicle.

Playback

The Playback tab enables pre-recorded log files to be played back. This allows Greensea to support customers in the field, by diagnosing the system in real-time.

Video Overlay Overview

The Video Heads-Up Display (HUD) shows the vehicle's video feed, as well as the basic functions needed for navigation and control.
