Subsea and Background Application Configuration

Several of the applications in the your system require configuration files for execution. Many applications will run without a path to the configuration file and many will require the application configuration to run. In all cases however, the configuration files ensure proper configuration for the vehicle application.

Application arguments specify the path to the configuration files required for each application. These configuration files are well documented and are written in the yaml (YAML Ain't Markup Language) format to provide a human-readable and easily edited file. As with any configuration file format, yaml requires specific syntax, structure, and punctuation. Refer to the yaml website for more specific information on this format (yaml.org).

There are multiple applications that require specific configurations for the vehicle system: the openSEA modbus interface application, openMNGR, openCMD, openINS, and any Payload Control System application.
