The workspace makes extensive use of data loggina and the data logging system is a fundamental component of using the workspace effectively. Logs can be used to archive job data and are also an effective troubleshooting and support tool. The data logging system logs every variable in the system with a timestamp. The workspace also allows replaying logs. When requesting support from Greensea, it is helpful to have a log of the particular event in question.
Operators control data logging through the Logging menu tab. The following table provides the functions available for the logging system.

| Save Logs In | Specifies the directory in which the logs will be saved. |
| Set Name | Specifies the name of the log. |
| Mark | Allows the operator to insert a note in the log. |
| Post | Processes log files as CSV files. When Convert to CSV is pressed, a file menu will open. Select the desired log file to convert to *.csv format. |
