Signal View

The left side of the workspace screen lists the active channels and signals eligible for plotting. Clicking the '+' icon to the left of the channel name will expand the channel to show all its associated signals. To minimize the view, click the '-' icon visible to the left of the channel name. The channels are searchable by keyword and can be filtered by filling in the search bar above the list of data signals. To select a signal to be plotted, select the check box next to the signal name. Multiple signals can be plotted at once in a color coded fashion. When a signal is selected for plotting, the signal text is highlighted in the same color that it appears in the plotter utility.

Function Description

Clear

Clears the active channels and signals. They will repopulate as Balefire receives their data. This does NOT clear the search field.

Display Only Plotted Signals

Removes all signals that are not selected for plotting from the active channels and signals.

Pause

Stops the stream of real time data to the plotter. Real time data can again be observed by disengaging the pause button.

Auto Vertical

Selects the y-axis maximum and minimum values from the data value default.

Absolute Vertical

Sets user-defined maximum and minimum y-axis values.

Use Local Time

Switches the plot reference from the data feed to local time, or the computer time.

Clear Plot Clears the graphical plot.
Refresh Rate Changes the rate (Hertz) that the data is plotting with the toggle arrows.
Time/Division in seconds

Adjusts the time rate division in seconds via the scroll bar at the bottom right of the plotter.

Zoom

Zooms in on the plot when the plot screen is clicked on at the desired zoom point and dragged out. The graph will pause automatically. Press PAUSE again to continue plotting.
