Workhorse Splashproof Switches and Connections

The Operator Control Console top includes the following switches:

SWITCH LOCATION FUNCTION
Main Power Switch Top left Turns the Operator Control Console on and off.
ROV Power Switch Center Right Turns the ROV power on and off. Twist in the direction of the arrows to turn on the ROV power and press the switch to turn it off.
LIM Module Top Right Test and Reset buttons can be found on the LIM.

The Operator Control Console top includes the following connections:

CONNECTION LOCATION FUNCTION
POWER (100-240 Volts AC, 50, 60 Hz) Twist lock connector, Top Left Used to connect the Operator Control Console to a power source.
USBL Top Left Provides 12 Volts DC and USB connection to the topside USBL Transducer.
AUX ETHERNET RJ-45 female, Center Left Can be used to connect the Operator Control Console to the computer for Ethernet based ROV accessories.
AUX USB Ports (2) Type A female, Center Left Can be used to connect USB devices to the computer via the Operator Control Console.
HMI (Human Machine Interface) Fischer Multipin, Bottom Left Used to connect to the Operator Control Console Tablet Computer.
TETHER (Specifications) 8 pin round female, Bottom Right Used to connect the Operator Control Console to the tether for ROV power, communications, video and accessory support.

Mounting the Expeditionary Splashproof Controller in the Workhorse Splashproof Console Lid

These images show the mounting plates on the Expeditionary Splashproof Controller and Workhorse Splashproof console. The Expeditionary Splashproof Controller is connected by engaging its mounting plate with the one in the console lid.

The side pod controllers must be removed from the Expeditionary Splashproof Controller to mount it in the Workhorse Splashproof console lid. See the Side Pods Controller Section for unmounting and mounting instructions.
