Actuator - The part of the Articulating Manipulator that causes the jaws or cutter to open and close.

Center Float - A float designed specifically for the Rotating Manipulator to provide addition buoyancy to counter the weight of the manipulator.

Counterbalance Weight - A weight designed to help maintain an even pitch of the ROV when the Rotating Manipulator is installed on the ROV.

Effector - A universal name for the jaws or cutter.

Rotating Frame - The part of the Rotating Manipulator that causes the jaws or cutter to rotate.
