Close - The state or action where the volume in the Water Sampler is getting smaller, forcing a sample to be expelled

Collect - The process of filling the Water Sampler with a sample

Contract - The reduction of volume in the Water Sampler causing a sample to be expelled

Expand - The increase of volume in the Water Sampler causing a sample to be collected

Expel - The process of emptying the Water Sampler of a collected sample

Open - The state or action where the volume in the Water Sampler is getting larger, forcing a sample to be collected

Volume - the space inside of the syringe
