Xinput Calibrator for Touchscreen Calibration

Get xinput_calibrator

The generic calibration tool xinput_calibrator is a program for calibrating your touchscreen, when using the X Window System.

Install xinput_calibrator:

____ sudo apt-get install xinput_calibrator

Use calibrate tool

Connect one (if multiple) touch screen and on the command line, run:

____ xinput_calibrator

The UI [1] screen will show an x at each point of the screen. Click the x at each red point to create a calibration. Once a valid calibration is created, the tool will prompt you to save the set up to a specific config file.

If multiple monitors are being used, the calibration needs to be mapped correctly.
