RS485 Pinout

RS485 is a serial communication protocol that can travel longer distances than RS232. The protocol supports multiple commanding and listening devices. RS485 communicates over a terminated twisted pair.

RS485 connections typically have a converter from a 232 either externally or internally to a system.
