Hand Controller Diagnostics

Hand controller consists of switches, analog knobs, an interface board and cables. Problems include complete or partial loss of function, and incorrect response.

Issue	Items to Check	Status / Resolution
No function	Check that the cable is plugged in.	Plug in the cable.
	Verify whether the controller works in a Windows computer.	If not, repair or replace the controller. If it does work, suspect an interface or application problem.
Partial function	Check the response in the Vehicle configuration diagnostics.	Isolate the problem and repair or replace the controller, or change the signal map to allow the function to be used.
Improper function	Verify it is being held correctly.	Hold the controller correctly.
	Check the Signal Mapper Interface	Correct the signal map.
