Workhorse Switches and Connections

The Operator Control Console top includes the following switches:

SWITCH LOCATION FUNCTION
Main Power Switch Top Left Turns the Operator Control Console on and off.
ROV Power Switch Center Left Turns the ROV power on and off. Twist in the direction of the arrows to turn on the ROV power and press the switch to turn it off.
LIM Module Central Right Test and Reset buttons can be found on the LIM.

The Operator Control Console top includes the following connections:

CONNECTION LOCATION FUNCTION
Power (100-240 Volts AC, 50, 60 Hz) IEC male Used to connect the Operator Control Console to a power source.

The Operator Control Console side includes the following switches:

SWITCH LOCATION FUNCTION
12 VDC Circuit Breaker Bottom Left USed to protect the 12 V DC power for topside accessories.

The Operator Control Console side includes the following connections:

CONNECTION TYPE FUNCTION
Tether Whip (Specifications) 8 pin round female Used to connect the Operator Control Console to the tether for ROV power, communications, video and accessory support.
Monitor Power and Touch Screen Connection Provides 12 Volts DC. Used to provide power and touch screen function to the monitor.
Monitor Signal HDMI, female (2) Used to provide the video signal to the monitor.
USB Ports (7) Type A female Can be used to connect USB devices to the computer via the Operator Control Console.
@ are dedicated to the keyboard and hand controller. 5 additional are available for other devices.
Ethernet RJ-45 female Can be used to connect the Operator Control Console to the computer for Ethernet based ROV accessories.
12 VDC DC Type M female (2) Can be used to to provide 12 V DC power to topside accessories.
